Hello and welcome,
As you may already know Google has discontinued their Knol online knowledge sharing platform which was used to store all your wonderful guides on FreePhotoGuides.com. The website has fallen into a state of disrepair so with the help of Brent Person the founder of this great resource myself, Lee Duguid and ShutterTramp would like to restore it to its former glory.
All is not lost! Your Knols are still available for download but not for long, on October 1st 2012 Google will delete them and all that great knowledge will be lost for ever. This is where we need your help. If you would like to submit your article to this great site as we move to a more permanent platform please do so by following the simple instructions below. We will do the rest and the site will be back up in no time. New articles submission will be take when the site is somewhat back up and running.
1. Visit knol.google.com
2. Click ‘Download my knols to a file’
3. Log into your Gmail account
4. Make sure only your Knol’s are selected to backup then click ‘Create Archive’
5. Download the knol backup to your computer
6. Upload your knol
